Events

Rose Hill hosts several events for the school community throughout the year.

  • Back-To-School Prep Day
    Mid-August. Take care of back-to-school business such as pre-order a yearbook, purchase an ASB card and RHMS apparel, buy a PE shirt, and meet with the registrar to update address changes or other registration services. Our Health Room staff will be on hand to accept any medications needed for the start of the school year (completed medication form signed by physician required), immunization paperwork, or a signed Individual Health Plan (IHP). A representative from the PTSA will also be present to answer any questions about RHMS PTSA and so you can complete a membership form and join PTSA. We will also be providing a vaccination clinic.

    If you are unable to attend Prep Day, the same business can also be taken care of in the office August 29-September 2, or during the first week of school by either the student or the parent.

  • New Family Night
    Late-August. This even focuses specifically on the needs of the families that are new to Rose Hill Middle School. The Administrative team will talk about the middle school experience at RHMS. Afterwards there will be opportunities to meet and greet Rose Hill teachers and support staff, get questions answered, as well as take care of some of the Prep Day items if you were not able to attend Prep Day the week before. There will be opportunities to tour the school.
  • Open House
    Mid-September. Meet your student's teachers, visit their classrooms. Open to parents and their students.
  • 5th Grade Families Information Night
    Mid-January. This event is geared toward families of 5th grade students that are considering attending Rose Hill Middle School next school year. The event includes presentations by Administrators, Counselors, ASB/Athletics, PTSA and a Q&A session.
  • Art Show
    Spring. Display of artwork by Mr. McShane's Art and Ceramics classes.
  • Digital Media Show
    Spring. Display of artwork by Mr. Ensz's Digital Media classes.
  • 8th Grade Farewell Celebration
    June. An assembly-style celebration of our 8th grade students moving up to high school.
