Middle School Quest Science changes

Beginning in the 2023-24 school year, all Middle School Quest students will be enrolled in general education science. More information.

Middle School Quest provides highly capable services to 6th-8th grade students at one of four middle schools, assigned based on home school (Evergreen Middle School, Kamiakin Middle School, Redmond Middle School or Timberline Middle school). School assignment is subject to change.

Appropriate service options may include:

  • Cross-disciplinary, rigorous Humanities coursework
  • Accelerated math course offerings
  • Adjusting pacing, curriculum compacting, reducing review and repetition, inquiry approach to instruction, investigations
  • Differentiated academic instruction with flexible grouping
  • Cohort of intellectual and age peers

Middle School Quest sites occur at identified schools throughout the district. Students will attend their neighborhood school in 9th grade.

Transportation 
LWSD offers limited bus transportation for students enrolled in the Middle School Quest programs. For more information about your child's bus routes, please check Skyward.
